The 9 metre x 4 metre infinity edge swimming pool at Masia De L'Avi was constructed to take full advantage of the spectacular view. The water appears to fall away over the edge of the pool with an apparent drop of hundreds of metres down into the valley below. In fact it only drops a metre or so, running over a fully tiled rolled edge wall into a covered holding tank. The water is then pumped from this buffer tank to the filtration room which is built under part of the terrace. The shallow end is approx 1 metre deep by 3 metres long, there is a 3 metre slope to the 3 metre deep end which is perfect for guests who want to have fun in the pool or those who prefer to exercise.

Sitting by the pool at night is spectacular, especially at sunset or sunrise, when the water reflects the deepening hues of the sun and sky.

The pool has walk-in steps to the shallow end which means that it is easier to get into than a pool fitted with stainless steel ladders. The steps are colour coded on their edges so they are easier to see and safer when entering the pool. At night there are pool lights to illuminate the water and steps, giving them a spectacular and romantic glow.
