De L'Avi is an individual villa located on the Jolucar to Lujar road in the
foothills of the Sierra Lujar mountains. The villa is approx 15 minutes from
the beaches of Castell de Ferro, Calahonda and the town of Motril in the
Granada province of southern Spain. This region is also known as the Costa
Tropical due to its sub tropical climate. The road to the villa is quiet, however it
is one of the best surfaced roads in southern Spain due to it being used for
the Tour de Spain cycle race.
The villa is very easy to find and full instructions will be given upon booking. If you are travelling from Malaga you will head out from the airport along the 340 motorway past Nerja and Almunecar to Motril where you will turn left up through the hills following signs for Lujar. The journey should take you approx 80 minutes. If you are flying into Granada airport you will head down the E 902 to Motril and follow the same route up to the villa, journey time approx 60 minutes.
