| The
Costa Tropical coast extends from the Costa Del Sol and is home to some
beautiful beaches. The water of the Mediterranean is exceptionally
clear in this area and is popular with scuba divers and snorkellers. You
will find many fish species in the sea here including rainbow wrasse and
starfish, all of which can be enjoyed in their natural habitat with just a
snorkel and mask. There are some pretty coves and inlets to explore, separated by impressive cliffs, the main photo was taken at Rijana (pronounced ree-arna ) beach which is quiet for most of the year, a small beach bar is erected in the summer months for a refreshing beer or a tasty meal. The majority of towns on the coast are fronted by beaches so there are plenty to choose from during your stay in the villa. You may wish to explore the towns of La Herradura, Almuñécar, Salobreña, Motril, Castell de Ferro and La Rábita all of which offer a different experience. Some are bordered by tropical crops such as banana plantations, others have interesting shops and restaurants.
